SCIENTIST FROM INDIA INTERNS AT EAST KAZAKHSTAN UNIVERSITY

An associate professor and scientist from Mahatma Gandhi University of India arrived at East Kazakhstan University as part of the Solar exchange program. Pramod Kadukatti’s main activities at his alma mater are aimed at effective scientific cooperation, exchange of experience and lectures for young scientists of East Kazakhstan University.

-We study our projects and share expert opinion. I would also like to listen to lectures from NSLCU staff about nanotechnology, nanocomposite materials, polymer composites and others. Local scientists have something to tell and show,” said Mr. Kadukatti.

During the internship in Kazakhstan, the scientist got acquainted with a large number of promising and interesting projects.

-I was impressed by the scientific work being realized here. For example, scientists of the university offer good solutions for the problems of farmers and agriculture in general. There is a great potential in the field of nanotechnology. I also noticed that here they try to apply only eco-methods in their work, taking into account the current trends in the world,” the professor shared.

Such international internships are useful for both sides, Promod said. Kazakhstani and Indian scientists can actively develop science, strengthening co-operation. This in turn will have a positive impact on the economy of the two countries.
