2024 OLYMPICS MEDALLIST DEMEU ZHADRAEV IN AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY

The Kazakhstan wrestler of Greco-Roman style, silver medallist of the Olympic Games 2024 in Paris Demeu Zhadraev was welcomed in the walls of the Amanzholov University.

-Today’s meeting was a milestone event for our university. We, faculty and students warmly welcomed the Olympic medalist, his coach and mentor Boranbek Konyratov, as well as Akim of Ust-Kamenogorsk city Zhaksylyk Omar, who assisted in the organisation of this event, – said the rector of the university Mukhtar Tolegen.

During the meeting the students-athletes of the university had a unique opportunity to ask their questions. Thus, Demeu Zhadraev told about his career path, the most difficult stage at the Olympics and gave recommendations to young athletes.

In addition, the students expressed their admiration by dedicating poems to the wrestler.

At the end of the event, Mukhtar Tolegen presented the athlete with a medal named after Kabanbai Batyr.
