ALMA MATER WINS A GRANT FROM THE GOETHE INSTITUTE

The alma mater won a grant to organise events from the Goethe Institute. In 2024, the Goethe Institute in Kazakhstan will celebrate its 30th anniversary. Partners will celebrate this significant date in different parts of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan. EKU is not an exception. Since mid-September, the university will launch events to promote German culture. Students and teachers will get acquainted with modern art, literature, methods of studying and teaching German language with the help of new technologies. For example, there will be a scientific-practical seminar for German language teachers ‘Versteckte Grammatik’, a workshop ‘Wie kann man am besten Woerter behalten’ and a master class in fine arts ‘Kreativitaet schenkt dir die ganze Welt’.

According to Rector Mukhtar Tolegen, the cultural and educational cycle of events dedicated to the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Goethe Institute will strengthen the long-standing partnership.
