A FAMOUS JOURNALIST FROM KAZAKHSTAN HELD A MASTER CLASS

Amanzholov University hosted a master class by Alisher Suleimenov, a well-known journalist and advisor to the Akim of East Kazakhstan region, on “Psychological Aspects of Creativity” for students of the Department of Journalism, Kazakh and Russian Philology.

Alisher Suleimenov is the founder of the first television production service in Kazakhstan and the first talk show in the Kazakh language, as well as the editor of many domestic films. He is the founder of the “Altyn Zhuldyz” Independent Media Award, a member of the Academy of Cinematographic Arts and Sciences of Kazakhstan, the Academy of Journalism of Kazakhstan, and the Unions of Cinematographers and Journalists of Kazakhstan.

During the master-class the speaker shared practical cases from his professional activity, spoke about the importance of psychology in the creative process and emphasised the importance of self-expression and understanding the psychology of the audience for a successful career. The students also actively asked questions and exchanged opinions, which created an atmosphere of open dialogue.

-This is my second master-class in the university. I notice the sincere interest of future specialists. I want to continue sharing my experience and communicating with young people who are eager to become professionals,’ the journalist said.

Alisher Suleimenov paid special attention to an important aspect of journalist’s work – the ability to maintain psychological stability and avoid professional burnout. He noted that journalists often face criticism and moral challenges. In this regard, he gave recommendations on how to maintain emotional balance.

At the end, the young people received valuable recommendations on personal growth and increasing competitiveness.
