GRATITUDE FROM THE HUMAN RIGHTS OMBUDSMAN IN KAZAKHSTAN

Associate Professor of the Department of Jurisprudence Kuat Rakhimberdin was presented with a letter of gratitude from the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Kazakhstan Artur Lastayev. He expressed appreciation to the East Kazakhstan University faculty member for his contribution to the defence of citizens’ rights and freedoms, including efforts to prevent torture and ill-treatment.
