GERMAN CHRISTMAS TRADITIONS HAVE BEEN STUDIED IN EAST KAZAKHSTAN UNIVERSITY
S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University together with the German cultural center Wiedergeburt held a master class for students of the educational program “Foreign Language: Two Foreign Languages”.
The master class began with a creative interactive “Own Game”. Students answered questions concerning German Christmas traditions.
The participants of the game tested their knowledge of the culture of the country whose language they were studying.
The next stage was the making of traditional Christmas wreaths. This is an important element that symbolizes eternity of well-being.
-This master class was not only useful but also very inspiring. We felt the real atmosphere of Christmas and were able to touch the cultural heritage of Germany, – shared the student.
Let us remind you that in September this year the alma mater won a grant from the Goethe Institute to hold cultural events. East Kazakhstan University actively implements project initiatives aimed at the development of international relations and cultural exchange. https://www.goethe.de/ins/kz/ru/index.html
