AN EPIDEMIOLOGIST SPOKE TO STUDENTS ABOUT HIV PREVENTION

On the eve of World AIDS Day in East Kazakhstan University a lecture on HIV prevention was organized by doctor-epidemiologist Ayaulym Aukenova. She told the students about the importance of HIV prevention, observance of precautionary measures and leading a healthy lifestyle. The speaker emphasized the need to raise awareness of young people about the risks of infection, as well as the importance of regular check-ups.

In addition, Oksana Magomedova, a representative of the NGO “Ansfer” met with the students. She informed young people about the difference between HIV and AIDS and handed out explanatory materials.

It should be noted that such events contribute to the formation of a responsible attitude to one’s health and strengthen preventive work among the younger generation.
