REGIONAL OLYMPIAD ON FINANCE AND ACCOUNTING WAS HELD

The Department of Economics, Management and Finance organized a regional Olympiad on finance and accounting among final year students. The participants had to demonstrate practical and theoretical knowledge, wit and critical thinking skills. In the presented scientific projects, essays and presentations, schoolchildren showed a high level of knowledge in financial literacy and artificial intelligence.

According to the results of the jury, the first place in the team competition went to the students of secondary school № 43 named after K. Nurgaliyev. Second place – secondary school No. 1 named after Shakarim and secondary school-lyceum No. 25. The third place was shared by secondary school-lyceum № 11 and Glubokov secondary school named after Y. Altynsarin.

In the individual competition the honorary Grand Prix was awarded to the 11th grade student of secondary school-lyceum Nazar Dugali. The first place went to a student of the secondary school named after Shakarim Aidana Bayangazy. Elaman Elalysov, a student of secondary school-lyceum No. 43 named after K. Nurgaliyev, won silver. The third place was taken by Sofia Lipunova, a pupil of secondary school-lyceum No. 25.

At the end of the Olympiad, the winners and participants were awarded certificates and valuable prizes.
