JOB MARKET “SERPIN-2050”

East Kazakhstan University held a job fair for graduates of the program “Serpin-2050” on the theme “Mangilik el zhastary – industriaga”, organized by the Department of Employment Coordination and Social Programs of East Kazakhstan region.

At the plenary session were presented the state programs “With Diploma – in the village!”, “Voluntary interregional resettlement” and “Youth practice”, which were explained by deputy akims of cities and districts of East Kazakhstan region. They familiarized the students with the infrastructural features of each region and the advantages that will be provided to young professionals.

In addition, students were able to familiarize themselves with the list of in-demand professions in education, manufacturing and mining, agriculture, public service and forestry.
Graduating students were given the opportunity to personally talk to employers, submit their CVs and get additional information about jobs in the areas they are interested in. The organizers plan to hold such fairs several times before the end of the school year.

-The job fair is a unique opportunity for our graduates to start their professional careers and contribute to the development of the region. This event helped not only employers to find qualified specialists, but also students themselves to understand where and how they can apply their knowledge in practice,” said Irina Rovnyakova, Vice-Rector for Strategic Development and International Cooperation.

Note that the total percentage of employment of graduates of the program “Serpin” in S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University is 97%, which is one of the record indicators in the country. Many graduates of this program have already managed to build a successful career, get a job and create families. Some of them continued their studies by enrolling in master’s and doctoral programs at East Kazakhstan University.
