THE ACADEMIC COMMITTEE MET AT THE DEPARTMENT OF BIOLOGY

The meeting of the academic committee was held at the Department of Biology. Director of “Secondary school №6” Ust-Kamenogorsk city of Education Department of East Kazakhstan region Askarova A.A., biology teacher of “Secondary school №15” Ust-Kamenogorsk city Akhatova A.K., director of peasant farm “Paseka” Kasymbaev V.M., deputy chairman of the board on scientific work of East Kazakhstan experimental agricultural station Seilgazina Saule, scientific secretary of this organization Cherepanova Irina, as well as students and teachers of the department took part in it. Head of the Department of Biology Kitapbaeva A.A. presented brief information on educational programs and asked members of the council to make suggestions for changes that will be made in the curriculum in the framework of the actualization of educational programs. In the draft GCSE, the value-oriented approach to learning, multilingual education was strengthened, and several norms aimed at increasing inclusive approach to education were included. A draft concerning the system of evaluation of the effectiveness of the GCEA was also presented.

V.M. Kasymbaev noted that updating of educational standards is a global practice that takes into account current trends in education, as well as the rapid development of digitalization and artificial intelligence, and offered his recommendations on the subject “Forest Resources”.
Irina Cherepanova suggested not to limit themselves to practical training at the center, but to open a branch.
