SDG: DEPARTMENT OF KAZAKH, RUSSIAN PHILOLOGY AND JOURNALISM

S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University considers the international recognition of the education system as a result of creating conditions for universities to get the opportunity of mutual enrichment of knowledge, technologies, experience, resources and cultural traditions. Partnership in the framework of sustainable global cooperation is carried out within the framework of international agreements concluded with foreign scientific and educational institutions and organizations at the Department of Kazakh, Russian philology and journalism. The faculty of the department has lectured and interned at such universities as Omsk State University (Russia), Aegean University (Izmir, Turkey), University of Bath (Bath, England), Szeged University (Szeged, Hungary), Adam Mickiewicz University and Lublin Academy of Medical and Social Sciences (Poland), Technical University of Cluj-Napoko (Cluj-Napoko, Romania).

Also, students from near and far abroad have studied at the department for the last three years under the academic mobility program. Students from France, Hungary, Mongolia, Tajikistan studied Kazakh and Russian languages. Foreign youth actively participate in cultural, educational, scientific, sports events, concerts, festivals, forums, etc.

In order to strengthen cultural and educational ties with countries through familiarization with the world heritage of the Kazakh people – the work of Abai Kunanbayev, a branch of the Abai Institute of East Kazakhstan University was opened in Poland at the Linguistic and Technical University of Świecie. Various events with domestic and foreign partners were held for the 175th anniversary of Abai.

Within the framework of the program of attracting foreign professors to the universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan at the department lectured Professor Zoltan Buzadi (Hungary) of Korvin University on professional leadership, and Professor Bulent Bayram (Turkey) of Kyrklarel University gave a course of lectures on Turkic folklore and ethnography.
