UNIVERSITY TEACHERS WERE TRAINED IN VIDEO LECTURE FILMING AND EDITING

Within the framework of the methodical decade of the department of organization of educational and methodical work and the Higher School of Humanities a seminar for teachers on “Filming and editing of video lectures at home” was held.

The seminar was conducted by Asel Berikbolova, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Kazakh, Russian Philology and Journalism. She explained the basic stages of editing, the most popular programs and ways of working with video lectures at home. Special attention was paid to technical equipment and its settings: gadgets, cameras, light and sound adjustment, work with angles.

According to the trainees, they learned how to use the CapCut application, properly adjust the sound, apply effects and create video lectures.

– Today we live in the era of digitalization, so this topic is quite relevant for everyone. In addition, the university is preparing to obtain a license for online learning. In this regard, creating and editing lectures at home is one of the most important skills for teachers. This is evidenced by the high interest of the participants,” said Yerzhan Domalatov, Director of the Department of Academic Policy and Management of Educational Programs.

At the end of the seminar, the speaker conducted additional explanatory work.
