HIPPOTHERAPY AND ADAPTIVE EQUESTRIAN SPORTS ARE BEING TAUGHT AT THE UNIVERSITY

From February 5 to 19, the Resource Center for Professional Training and Professional Development held a training course on the program “Fundamentals of Rehabilitation in Hippotherapy and Adaptive Equestrian Sport”. The course is aimed at training specialists in rehabilitation horseback riding and equestrian sports for people with disabilities.

The practical part of the course was conducted with the participation of riders with disabilities on the basis of the equestrian complex, where classes on hippotherapy and adaptive equestrian sport are held on a regular basis.

The teacher of the course Rudenko Ekaterina Rudenko has more than 13 years of experience in hippotherapy rehabilitation and training of athletes with disabilities.

The course was attended by 12 students from different regions of Kazakhstan: EKR, WKR, Aktobe, Zhambyl, Almaty regions and Almaty city.
