INTERNATIONAL CULTURE: HOW THE “CHEF’S TABLE” CREATIVE EVENING WAS HELD

Within the framework of the methodological decade, the Department of Foreign Languages and Translation held a creative evening on the theme “Chef’s table, where dishes from different countries were presented. The evening was organized by the teachers of the department Diana Toleusabyr, Asel Rakhmetova, Gaukhar Sharipzhanova and Zhansaya Ryskhanova. Participants shared the peculiarities of national cuisines and told about interesting traditions of food preparation.

Each team developed a menu of dishes from a particular country. Students honed their language skills by presenting the menu in a foreign language. In addition, the students danced national dances. At the end of the event, all the participants were awarded letters of appreciation.
