A MASTER CLASS IN KAZAKH WRESTLING WAS HELD

A master class for coaches, young wrestlers and students of the educational program “Physical Education and Sport” of . Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University on the national sport “Kazakh wrestling”, which is included in the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity of UNESCO, was held in the sports club “Namys”. The organizer of this event was the President of the Burma Boxing Federation of East Kazakhstan Region, Master of Pedagogical Sciences Zhasulan Bekbolatuly.

During the lecture Zhasulan Bekbolatuly told in detail about the history, development and current status of “Kazakh wrestling”. In addition, the participants got acquainted with the basic techniques and features of wrestling.

Note that the master class was organized with the aim of popularization and development of national sports.
