AN ENVIRONMENTAL HOUR ON THE THEME “CLEAN KAZAKHSTAN” WAS ORGANIZED

Department of Ecology and Geography together with the executive secretary of the East Kazakhstan regional branch of the Green Party “Baitak” of the Department of Ecology in East Kazakhstan region Almaz Dzhakishev organized an environmental hour within the framework of the republican action “Taza Kazakstan”.

The event was attended by members of the environmental club “Zhasyl Tolkyin”, students of educational programs “Ecology”, “Environmental protection and life safety”, “Hydroecology, management and transboundary water security” and “Geography”.

During the seminar, students were familiarized with the plans aimed at solving urgent environmental problems of the country.

The participants discussed the issues of formation of environmental culture for nature conservation and effective recycling of garbage. Each student expressed his/her opinion on environmental projects.

The experts also measured the quality of the city’s atmospheric air.
