ONE DAY IN THE LIFE OF INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

Students from Tajikistan who arrived under the academic mobility program talked about their daily life at the university during a cultural event. It was initiated by Dean of the Higher School of Humanities Slyambek Orazalin.

Tajik youth arrived for one academic semester from S. Ulugzade International University of Foreign Languages.

– S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University has a very high level of education. The friendly attitude of the faculty increases our motivation. The learning process combines theory and practice and allows us to develop comprehensively,” Foteh Vakhobov said.

After class, the foreigners devote time to sports, he said. In particular, they play volleyball, which develops team spirit and endurance.

– East Kazakhstan University welcomed us very warmly. Even the rector took time out of his busy schedule for us and personally talked to each of us. Extracurricular activities are effectively organized here. On Saturdays we play soccer or volleyball. The material base of the dormitories and educational buildings is also satisfactory,” said Orifchon Sobirov.

Earlier, Tajik students held a charity event, clearing snow from the vicinity of a specialized orphanage. Soon they will join the volunteer movement “Kurmet”.
