PRACTICAL SEMINAR “PROFESSIONAL STRESS OF A TEACHER IN THE CONDITIONS OF MODERN INCLUSIVE PEDAGOGICAL SYSTEM”

East Kazakhstan University staff held a practical seminar on “Professional stress of a teacher in the conditions of modern inclusive pedagogical system” at Verkh-Uba comprehensive secondary school. The event was attended by 30 teachers of the school.

Speakers of the seminar were teachers of the Department of Psychology and Correctional Pedagogy Kukina Y.E. and Kanapiyanova K.D., head of the Center for Continuing and Inclusive Education “Dana Bala” A.K. Alipova.

The aim of the seminar was to form teachers’ self-regulation skills, psychological resilience and strategies for effective recovery in conditions of professional difficulties in order to prevent emotional burnout and maintain productive activity.

The seminar was organized within the framework of cooperation with “EK RNMCI and ‘Orken’ of East Kazakhstan on implementation of the republican project ‘943 – development of target schools in the country’.

During the seminar Kukina Y.E. acquainted the participants with the types and causes of pedagogical stress, ways of its detection and diagnostics of stress resistance level, taught simple skills to relieve tension and algorithms of behavior in a situation of stress.

Alipova A.K. outlined the possibilities of self-help and conducted practical work on methods and tools of stress management. In her turn, Kanapiyanova K.D. taught strategies for recovery of physical, emotional and social resources.

At the end of the seminar, the issues discussed led to a discussion that showed the presence of problem areas in the organization of modern inclusive pedagogical system.
