THE REGIONAL “YOUNG BIOLOGIST” OLYMPIAD WAS HELD

S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University Department of Biology hosted the regional Olympiad “Young Biologist”. Pupils of 11th grades of city, district and regional schools took part in the educational competition.

Pupils of all schools showed a high level of preparation, which indicates the growing interest in natural sciences among young people.

According to the results of the Olympiad, prize-winning places were taken by pupils of Ust-Kamenogorsk city schools #49, #48, #26, and also Predgornaya secondary school of Glubokovsky district and Kulynjon secondary school of Samara district. Aruzhan Didakhmetova, 11th grade student of secondary school named after K. Yskak of Topkain village of Katon-Karagai district, became the winner of the Grand Prix and the university grant.

At the end, the participants were awarded diplomas and letters of thanks.
