AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY PARTICIPATED IN AN EDUCATIONAL EXHIBITION IN BAKU
An educational exhibition was held in the city of Baku with the participation of more than 20 universities of Kazakhstan. The two-day event provided Azerbaijani students with an opportunity to get acquainted with various academic programs of leading Kazakhstani universities.
S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University took part in the exhibition, presenting a wide range of educational programs of three levels: bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral studies. The university delegation presented unique opportunities for international students, detailing the benefits of education, student life and graduate prospects.
– Within the framework of the exhibition we not only presented educational programs, but also organized interactive formats of interaction with applicants. Future students actively participated in quizzes, contests and drawings of souvenirs, and also had the opportunity to ask questions directly to university representatives. It is gratifying to see that many of them expressed a desire to study at our university, – shared the head of the career center “Professional Upgrading” Zhannel Bolatovna.
According to the organizers, this event is held for the first time in such a format and is aimed at developing educational ties between the two countries.
Kazakhstan’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan Alim Bayel emphasized the significance of the event, noting that it will become the basis for future cooperation in the field of higher education.
-Relations between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan have been established at a high level today. Cooperation is successfully developing in all spheres. And we want cooperation in the field of higher education to become one of the engines of our cooperation,” Alim Bayel said.
Azerbaijan’s Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev expressed optimism about the positive impact of the exhibition among Azerbaijani youth. He noted that it will provide Azerbaijani students with valuable opportunities to expand their educational horizons.
Minister of Science and Higher Education of Kazakhstan Sayasat Nurbek emphasized that cooperation between the two countries is developing in a warm atmosphere of brotherhood, with emphasis on common educational and scientific projects.
He said 12 full scholarships are allocated annually for students from Azerbaijan in Kazakhstan. Now 222 Azerbaijanis study in Kazakhstan and about 80 Kazakh students study in Azerbaijan.
He also emphasized that 37 branches of foreign universities, including British, French and American, have been opened in Kazakhstan. This allows introducing innovative approaches in the learning process.
The Minister noted that the agencies of Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan have a task to establish a large exchange between students of the two countries. In addition, the parties intend to launch a program of joint research on the basis of a joint laboratory, to create a joint program of grant research, to ensure the possibility of publication of scientists in the journals of both countries.
