STUDENT DEVELOPMENTS: HEALTH CAPSULE PROJECT

In S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University within the framework of the competition of student scientific works “Scientific Start-up projects” the second place was taken by the project of the fourth year student of the educational program “Forest Resources, Hunting and Beekeeping” Alexey Gladyshev on the topic “Development of technology of ECO-product ‘Health Capsule’ based on propolis extract”. The winner received a cash prize of 200,000 tenge. The scientific supervisor of the project is Professor of the Department of Biology, candidate of agricultural sciences Svetlana Kolosova.

The aim of the project is to develop an environmentally friendly product based on propolis extract, containing the daily rate of the active substance. This development is aimed at immunity support and prevention of various diseases. Propolis has anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and wound-healing properties. Its uniqueness lies in the fact that the composition changes every year, so that microorganisms are not able to develop resistance to it.

-The project provides for the production of a biologically active supplement – “Health Capsules”, which includes four unique beekeeping products. Their combination has a complex positive effect on the human body, – shared Alexey Gladyshev.

The experimental batch of samples was produced in the certified and accredited laboratory of the farm “Paseka”. According to the author, there are no analogs of this development in the world.
