THE DELEGATION OF EKU VISITED UNEC

As part of the visit of S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University delegation to the exhibition of Kazakh universities “Study in Kazakhstan” in Baku, a visit to the Azerbaijan State Economic University (UNEC) was organized, with which East Kazakhstan University cooperates within the framework of the academic exchange program ORHUN since 2022.

Azerbaijan State Economic University, founded in 1930, is one of the largest higher education institutions in Azerbaijan and holds leading positions in the country. UNEC is included in QS World University Rankings 2024 on the position 1001-1200.

It should be noted that within the framework of the ORHUN academic exchange program, teachers of the Department of Economics, Management and Finance annually visit UNEC to give lectures. During two years of cooperation, six lecturers have already visited the university.

UNEC has a good academic, material and technical base, which creates opportunities for further development and strengthening of cooperation between the two universities, including exchange of best practices in research, writing and other academic initiatives.
