EAST KAZAKHSTAN UNIVERSITY STUDENT BECAME WORLD CUP CHAMPION IN KICKBOXING

Maksat Erlanuly, a student of the educational program “Physical Culture and Sports” of S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, won the International Kickboxing Tournament “Italian World Cup”, becoming the World Cup Champion.

Maksat demonstrated outstanding skills in the weight category up to 75 kg, beating 15 opponents. In the semifinals and finals he confidently won the athletes to whom he had previously lost with a difference of one point. Among his rivals were representatives of Cote d’Ivoire, Italy, Israel and Uzbekistan.

– Intensive training lasted a month. It was not easy to win, but I am glad that I was able to defeat the strongest,” Maksat said.

It should be noted that the largest international competition with the participation of 46 countries was held in Italy in the city of Lido di Jesolo.

Previously, the athlete has already represented Kazakhstan at international tournaments, repeatedly confirming his high level.
