NATIONAL KURULTAI: UNIFIED UPBRINGING AND INCLUSIVE EDUCATION

The issues discussed at the IV National Kurultai are relevant for the whole country. Among the topics raised, special attention is paid to the future of our children. In particular, the program “Children of Kazakhstan”, which is aimed at preventing domestic violence and offenses against children. In addition, a bright future of the country is impossible without comprehensive education of the younger generation. By introducing “One Education” in all stages of education, we will prepare a patriotic, educated and creative society.

The President stressed that rehabilitation and development centers for children with autism spectrum disorder and special educational needs should be established in every regional center. A new law regulating comprehensive support for such children should be developed by the end of the year. Every child with special needs should have an opportunity to get a full-fledged education.

There are more than 200 thousand children with special educational needs in our country. Of them 16 thousand are in East Kazakhstan region. For this reason in S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University opened new educational programs “Ergopedagogy” and “Early Support Pedagogy”. The University has a Center for Continuous Inclusive Education “Dana Bala”. On its basis the university scientists develop author’s manuals, create special furniture and others. I am sure that the work in this direction will be continued.

I note that the issues raised at this kurultay are of great importance for the whole Kazakhstan. Therefore, the effectiveness and efficiency of the decisions made depend on each Kazakhstan citizen. This is our common responsibility.
