AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY CELEBRATED NATIONAL DRESS DAY

March 18 is the National Dress Day in Kazakhstan. On this occasion in the student service center “Parasat” was held an event “Yykili kamshat, burmeli koylek”.

The main highlight of the event was a fashion show of models in national dress. During the show were presented camisole, vests, saukele, pleated dresses. In addition, the organizers told the history of each of the garments, deepening the knowledge of the guests of the event.

– The main purpose of the event is to set an example to the trainees and colleagues. National dress is our visual code, which should not only be remembered and honored, but also disseminated among young people,” said Mergul Mustafina, head of the Parasat Student Service Center.

At the end of the celebration, the participants enjoyed a live performance of kyuya on a kobyz and tasted the traditional treat – Nauryz kozhe.
