PROTECTION OF SACRED PLACES IN THE REGION DISCUSSED BY POLICE AND STUDENTS

S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University held a scientific and educational event “Journey to sacral places of East Kazakhstan”, organized by the University Museum and the Graduate School of Business and Law.

During the event several key issues were discussed. In particular, tourism in the country, the message of the Head of State on the preservation of cultural heritage, as well as the protection of sacred places. Students presented reports on Berel barrows, Akbaur cave, Korpesh-Bayan Sulu goat mausoleum, Abay museum in Zhidebai, Rakhmanovsk springs.

In addition, reports on the history and significance of the Nauryz holiday were read out.

– Today’s event increased the interest of young people to historical and cultural heritage, propaganda of national values. Such events give impetus to spiritual development, – said Nazym Amanzholova, Head of East Kazakhstan University Museum.
