TED-X: REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ANTI-CORRUPTION SERVICE IN EKR MET WITH STUDENTS

East Kazakhstan University held a meeting of students of the Higher College with representatives of the Department of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Combating Corruption in East Kazakhstan region. The event on the topic “Honest income – honest citizen” was held in Ted-x format. Its participants discussed the importance of popularizing the principle of honest work and integrity. Gulnur Bekbaeva, a senior officer of the Department of the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for East Kazakhstan region, noted that this principle is especially important during education. According to her, education obtained by honest labor and perseverance is a guarantee of a successful future.

– We will be able to join the ranks of the most developed countries, having established in society the concept of “Honest Citizen” and its values, – said Gulnur Bekbayeva.

Deputy Director for Educational Work of the Higher College Moldir Mankey provided information about the work of the student club “Sanaly Urpaq”, which actively supports anti-corruption policy. She urged the students to join the ranks of concerned students and become part of the club.

In addition, the participants discussed anti-corruption culture and the role of digital technologies in the fight against corruption. At the end of the meeting, students asked the experts questions.
