NAURYZ AT AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY

Today students and teachers of Amanzholov University with great joy met Nauryz holiday on the main square of the city.
On this day in the center of Ust-Kamenogorsk the largest 18-kanat yurt “Sarsen Amanzholov ayly” was installed, which gathered faculty members, creative youth and residents of the regional center.

An exhibition dedicated to the history and achievements of the university was organized in the Kazakh house. In addition, students demonstrated national customs and traditions.

The colorful yurt was visited and the head of the region Nurymbet Saktaganov. He familiarized himself with the exhibition, and also wished students and teachers a prosperous year.

– Holiday Nauryz, which is celebrated by ancient Turkic peoples, symbolizes “new day”. I wish our country peace, prosperity, well-being and unity. May Kazakhstan be safe and the people live in peace and harmony,” said Mukhtar Tolegen, rector of S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University.
