500 KILOGRAMS OF HOT BAURSAKS WERE DISTRIBUTED AT AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY

At the East Kazakhstan University within the framework of the festive event “Under One Shanyrak” dishes of different nationalities were presented, including a generous Kazakh dastarkhan. 500 kilograms of hot baursaks, 300 liters of Nauryz kozhe and 500 kilograms of crumbly pilaf were prepared for numerous guests and students.

In addition, everyone could plunge into a gastronomic tour. East Kazakhstan University staff prepared many national dishes of different nations. The guests had a unique opportunity to taste Kazakh, Korean, Russian, Uzbek, Tajik, Tatar and Turkish cuisines for free. The menu items were varied: kurt, chak-chak, Uzbek pilaf, Tashkent tea, Korean drinks, sushi, samsa, pide, pancakes with raspberry jam and others.

Special attention was paid to the sour-milk product of Turkic peoples – kurt. The technology of its production was demonstrated on the territory of the university.
