EAST KAZAKHSTAN UNIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL PARTNER ON ETHNOCULTURAL EMPATHY AND JOINT PROJECTS IN A POPULAR PUBLICATION

Edoardo Crisafulli, Director of the Italian Institute of Culture in Almaty and Cultural Attaché of the Italian Embassy in Kazakhstan, gave an extensive interview to World Geostrategic Insights, in which he spoke about the role of “soft power”, ethno-cultural empathy in diplomacy and cultural projects between Kazakhstan and Italy.

Note that World Geostrategic Insights is a geopolitical platform that provides analysis and reports on events that have a significant international impact on political, economic, social and societal issues.

Let us remind you that in 2024 the cultural attaché of the Italian Embassy visited East Kazakhstan University as part of a working trip. Edoardo Crisafulli personally met with the rector of East Kazakhstan University Mukhtar Tolegen and familiarized himself with the existing and planned international projects, which are implemented on the basis of the alma mater. The Italian representative highly appreciated the initiative of the university administration in the development of bilateral cooperation in science, education and culture.
In particular, Edoardo Crisafulli noted the effectiveness of work with Italian universities – University of Genoa, University of Cassino and Southern Lazio in the areas of “Global Economy” and “Tourism”, as well as the opening of the S. Quasimodo Center of Italian Language and Culture.

According to Mukhtar Tolegen, Rector of East Kazakhstan University, these achievements are a symbol of a prosperous and fruitful partnership with Italy.
