GUEST LECTURE, OR HOW TO DEVELOP SPEECH IN SPECIAL CHILDREN

Within the framework of the methodological decade of the Higher School of Pedagogy the speech teacher of “Regional Psychological-Medical-Pedagogical Consultation” of the Department of Education of East Kazakhstan region Indira Zhunusova held an open master class on “Effective ways and means of speech development in children with cochlear implantation” for the students of 1-2 courses of Ergopedagogy and Early Development Pedagogy.

During the class the peculiarities of speech development in children with cochlear implantation were considered and the most effective methods and means of correctional work were emphasized. The students gained valuable knowledge necessary for their future professional activity. In addition, they familiarized themselves with the advanced approaches in speech therapy practice. The event contributed to the strengthening of theoretical and practical competencies of future specialists.
