“MONTH OF SCIENCE”: INTEGRATION OF CHEMICAL SCIENCE AND PRODUCTION

The “Month of Science” continues in S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University. Today the Republican round table on a theme: “Integration of chemical science and manufacture: a modern condition and problems” in which has taken part has taken place

The event was organized in honor of the 75th anniversary of the academician of the National Engineering Academy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Ashimzhan Akhmetov.

The round table was opened by the Rector of East Kazakhstan University Mukhtar Tolegen, who noted the invaluable contribution of Ashimzhan Akhmetov in the development of national scientific potential. The participants of the meeting were shown a documentary film about the life and labor path of the academician.

-East Kazakhstan University cherishes the memory of Ashimzhan Suleimenovich. In February 2020 on my initiative IT-cabinet of chemistry named after him was opened, which is equipped according to modern standards. Ashimzhan Suleimenovich was a prominent public figure, a talented scientist, candidate of legal sciences, doctor of technical sciences, professor, academician of the National Engineering Academy, always distinguished by an active civil position, – said the first head of the university.

The event continued with speeches of professors, experts, doctoral students and students. Among them: the head of the Department of Chemistry East Kazakhstan University Bakyt Shaihova, PhD of the Institute of Chemistry and Chemical-Pharmaceutical Technologies (Barnaul) Denis Minakov, PhD Institute of Chemical Sciences named after A.B. Bekturov Himersen Huangul, chief specialist East Kazakhstan University branch of RSE “KazStandard” Olga Savinkova, methodologist of the testing center branch of RSE “NC KPMC RK” “VNIItsvetmet” Anastasia Ermoshkina, head of analytical service of ‘Eurasian Minerals Trade’ LLP Mikhail Zharlikov and others.

The authors of the reports raised topical issues. For example, the development of national standard composition samples, problems and prospects of dual education, the current state of integration of science and production, as well as the use of biologically active substances of higher basidiomycetes in the food and pharmaceutical industries.
