QUIZ ON FINANCIAL SAFETY AMONG YOUNG PEOPLE IN THE REGION

An intellectual contest “Quiz on Financial Security” among the youth of the region was held in the regional center. The event was organized by the regional Department of Economic Investigations together with Amanzholov University.

– I would like to express my gratitude to the students who took part in this intellectual game, which is aimed at teaching the basics of financial literacy. I think that the game format will attract the attention of young people to the issues of financial security, – said the head of the Department of Economic Investigations of East Kazakhstan region Arman Zhunisov.

The purpose of the event was to popularize modern approaches to financial security and to teach young people how to counteract financial risks.

– Today more than 100 questions were voiced. This is how young people learn the skills of personal finance management in a fun, interactive way. Organization of such events is part of the state policy aimed at protecting young people from fraud and ensuring their prosperous future, – emphasized the rector of Amanzholov University Mukhtar Tolegen.

Teams of three higher educational institutions of East Kazakhstan, as well as representatives of the Youth Resource Center took part in the competition. The competition included seven stages, during which the participants demonstrated logical thinking, reaction speed and teamwork.

– The game was intense and exciting. We made every effort and showed a worthy level in the competition with the strongest teams of the region, – said the captain of the team “Parasyz profi” Zhanbyl Aliyev.

According to the results of the game, the first place was taken by the team “Parasyz profi” of S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, which received a cash prize of 200,000 tenge. The second and third places were taken by the teams of alma mater “Financial experts” and “Mugalim boys”. Its participants received incentives of 150,000 and 100,000 tenge.

The contest was a great opportunity for young people not only to demonstrate their knowledge, but also to broaden their horizons in the field of financial security, to learn how to effectively recognize and prevent potential financial threats.
