TALENTS OF EAST-2025: THE MAIN PRIZE IS AN EDUCATIONAL GRANT
In Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University the regional contest-festival of vocal and instrumental skills “Talents of the East”, timed to the 80th anniversary of the Victory was held.
The main purpose of the event is to identify talented youth of the region, patriotic, spiritual, moral and aesthetic education of the younger generation, formation of respectful attitude to the Motherland and culture.
– The festival “Talents of the East” is not only an opportunity to demonstrate one’s skills, but also a chance to find like-minded people, share experience and inspiration. We hope that this competition will be an important stage for the participants on the way to professional self-expression and development, – said Senior Lecturer of the Department of Culture, Sports and Primary Military Training Tatiana Shaimardanova.
According to the results of the contest the winners in two nominations were determined. Malika Kadyrova, a student of Secondary School No. 42, won the grand prize and a grant for four years of study at Amanzholov University in the nomination “Vocal Performance”. The first place was taken by Zhupar Ashimova, a second-year student of “East Kazakhstan Art College named after People’s Artists of Abdullin Brothers”. The second place was awarded to Erkulan Bekbolat and Maria Karpova. The third place went to Kausar Arman.
– I am very glad that I took part in this competition. Now I have an opportunity to study in one of the most prestigious universities of East Kazakhstan. Many thanks to the organizers and university management for warm reception, – said the winner Malika Kadyrova.
Tilekzhan Rajanuly received the grand prize in the nomination “Instrumental Performance”. The first place was taken by the collective “Shygystyn kyzgaldaqtary”. The second place was shared by the duet Kalibek Erik and Rakhat Samira, as well as the ensemble “Nomad”. The third place went to Kausar Arman, duet “Amanat” and Temirlan Erlanuly.
The participants, as well as their curators were given certificates for participation. The winners were awarded diplomas and money certificates from 15,000 to 30,000 tenge.
The festival became a bright platform for demonstration of creative potential of youth of East Kazakhstan and confirmation of significance of cultural initiatives in education of future generations.
