VICE-RECTOR OF EAST KAZAKHSTAN UNIVERSITY PARTICIPATED IN AN INTERNATIONAL ROUNDTABLE DISCUSSION

The D. Banzarov Buryat State University hosted a round table “Youth Policy in Higher Education Institutions of Russia and Kazakhstan”. The event was attended by representatives of S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University.

Zhanneta Kalimoldina, vice-rector for educational and social work of East Kazakhstan University, made a report on the peculiarities of youth policy development in Kazakhstan. In the center of educational work is the concept of “Tolyk adam”, formulated by the outstanding Kazakh thinker Abai. Zhanneta Kalimoldina noted that today the priority is the task of forming harmoniously developed personalities who are able to successfully adapt in modern society and contribute to its development.

Also activists of Student Self-Government of IIF and participants of the International Summer School “Research of sacral places of East Kazakhstan” noted the most interesting student activities of East Kazakhstan University.

The participants of the round table expressed hope for further cooperation between the two universities in the field of academic mobility and development of network programs.
