CREATIVE MEETING WITH POET DAULETKEREY KAPULY TOOK PLACE IN EAST KAZAKHSTAN UNIVERSITY

In S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University the meeting of students with the famous Kazakh poet, honored figure of the Republic of Kazakhstan, winner of the international literary prize “Alash” and the state youth prize “Daryn” Dauletkerey Kapuly took place.

The literary evening became a significant event for creative youth and all who are interested in Kazakh literature and poetry. It gave the participants inspiration, creative impulse and spiritual enrichment.

The chairman of the East Kazakhstan regional branch of the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan Әlibek Qaңtarbai, the head of culture department of East Kazakhstan region Samat Kasenov and the head of internal policy department of East Kazakhstan region Yernur Burakhan took part in the event.

Opened the meeting and welcomed guests Rector of the University, Professor Mukhtar Tolegen. In his speech he emphasized the importance of such events for the formation of spiritual and cultural values in students.

– The meeting with Dauletkerey Kapuly became a significant spiritual lesson for our youth. Literature enriches the inner world of a person, awakens national consciousness and inspires. Words and reflections of the poet caused a lively response in students, promoted spiritual growth. Such evenings at the university are an important part of educational work, – said the rector.

During the evening the creative biography of the poet was presented, his works were performed, the participants were able to ask questions and communicate freely with the author. The students of the university also performed poems dedicated to the author to the sound of the dombra, giving the event a special atmosphere.

– It is pleasant that East Kazakhstan University organizes such rich literary evenings. Each word of the master of Kazakh poetry Dauletkerey Kapuly is an example for imitation of youth. I thank the management of the university for the organization of such an important and meaningful event, – said the writer Әlibek Kanitarbai.

Within the framework of the event the head of the department of internal policy of East Kazakhstan region Yernur Burakhan handed the poet a letter of gratitude from the akim of the region and presented the national chapan as a sign of special respect.

The guests were especially impressed by the poetic performance prepared by the student theater “Shabyt” at East Kazakhstan University.

At the end of the meeting the rector of the university Mukhtar Tolegen solemnly awarded Dauletkerey Kapuly the title of “Honorary Professor” of East Kazakhstan University. In response, the poet expressed his sincere gratitude to the university administration and donated about 30 author’s books to the library fund.
