EAST KAZAKHSTAN UNIVERSITY STUDENT WINS GOLD AT KAZAKHSTAN CHAMPIONSHIP

Student of the third year of EP “Recreational Physical Culture” Alira Shegelekova won the first place at the Championship of Kazakhstan in wrestling in Kazakh style. This is a national sport, which keeps the history and culture of the people. Since 1938 wrestling in Kazakh is included in the program of republican competitions. Note, the republican competitions among youth were held in the city of Oral, WKR. The young athlete demonstrated excellent results, defeating absolutely all participants of the championship.
