FROM WARSAW TO BEIJING: INTERNATIONAL LECTURES AT AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY
As part of the development of academic and cultural cooperation, professors from Poland and China Agnieszka Michalska, Leszek Zekrzewski and Zhang Jianhua came to AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY. The visit is organized within the framework of the academic exchange program and is aimed at strengthening international relations, exchange of scientific and pedagogical experience, as well as holding open lectures for students and teachers. Foreign professors represent leading universities and centers of their countries.
Agnieszka Michalska and Leszek Zekrzewski from the University of Social Sciences in Lublin held a series of specialized lectures and practical classes at the Department of Culture, Sport and Initial Military Training of AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY. Both specialists have many years of experience in physiotherapy, sports medicine and biochemistry. Their classes covered a variety of topics, including anatomical and physiological features of body development, the basics of sports morphology and biochemistry, and the physiological foundations of physical education, sports and biomechanics.
Zhang Jianhua, professor of Beijing Pedagogical University, director of the Institute of World History Research in China, Doctor of Historical Sciences, held a series of lectures for students of the Department of History of Kazakhstan and Social and Humanitarian Disciplines of East Kazakhstan University. The historian actively researches the culture of Central Asian peoples, as well as the theory of regional studies in China.
“Such visits play an important role in the development of international cooperation and the formation of an open academic space,” said East Kazakhstan University Rector Mukhtar Tolegen. – “We strive to create conditions for a constant dialog between representatives of different scientific schools and cultures.”
According to the first head of the university, such initiatives become an integral part of the strategy of internationalization of education, aimed at increasing the competitiveness of the university and integration into the world scientific and educational community.
