“OPEN DOORS DAY” IN ANTIKOR CENTER WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF “ADIL QOGAM” PROJECT

Within the framework of promoting the Law and Order narrative and celebrating the Day of Unity of the People of Kazakhstan, the Anti-Corruption Service of the East Kazakhstan Region organized an “Open Doors Day” event. This event became an important platform for dialogue with representatives of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, trade union, religious and youth organizations, as well as political parties.

Guests of the event familiarized themselves with the activities of the Anti-Corruption Service, its key initiatives and projects aimed at combating corruption.

The event was attended by volunteers of the student club “SANALY URPAQ”, as well as compliance officer of East Kazakhstan University Kaynar Zhexembayev.

Special attention during the event was paid to the role of civil society in combating corruption. Within the framework of the action a round table on the theme “The role of civil society in combating corruption” was held.

Alida Toktarkan, an anti-corruption volunteer of East Kazakhstan University, shared her experience and opinion. She talked about work with youth and emphasized the importance of educating the younger generation.

The “Open Doors Day” event became not only a platform for exchange of opinions, but also an important step towards strengthening cooperation between government agencies and civil society institutions.
