REGIONAL OLYMPIAD IN PEDAGOGY DEDICATED TO THE 1155TH ANNIVERSARY OF ABU NASR AL-FARABI

On the basis of Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University the I Regional Olympiad on pedagogy, dedicated to the 1155th anniversary of the great thinker of the East, predecessor and inspirer of pedagogical thought of Central Asia – Abu Nasr al-Farabi, was held for students of educational institutions of TVET! This Olympiad is East Kazakhstan University’s contribution to the preservation of the spiritual heritage of the great scientist.

I Regional Olympiad on Pedagogy consisted of several stages, which revealed the professional and personal potential of the participants and their creative abilities.

The contestants tested their theoretical knowledge in the pedagogical dictation and in the interactive game “Insight”, and also realized their practical skills in solving pedagogical situations in the contest “Micro-research”.

The jury consisted of scientists of higher educational institutions of East Kazakhstan region, representatives of Education Department of East Kazakhstan region and teachers of schools of the city.

According to the results of the Olympiad the following winners were determined:

І place – team of East Kazakhstan Humanitarian College named after Abay, heads Dautova Madina Toktarovna and Omarova Nazym Zhumabekovna;

ІІ place – team of Pedagogical College named after M.O.Auezov, head Alkanova Zaure Sabyrzhanovna;

ІІI place – team of Higher College of Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University , head Kazhybaeva Zhuldyz Shakenovna;

ІІI place – team of Pedagogical College named after M.O.Auezov, heads Balapanova Elmira Mamyrbekovna and Zhunusova Lyazzat Baybotaevna.
