KNOWLEDGE AS A PATH TO THE FUTURE: HOW AYAGOZ HONORS TRADITION AND NURTURES THE DIGITAL GENERATION

In the rapidly evolving digital age, knowledge is becoming not just a force, but the only currency for a sustainable future. The early development of intellectual potential becomes especially important, when schoolchildren get an opportunity to prove themselves, believe in their abilities and feel that their efforts are appreciated. A perfect example of such an educational initiative was the district Olympiad in Mathematics and Informatics, held on April 29, 2025 in Kazakh boarding school № 6 in Ayagoz city.

This is not just an Olympiad – it is an event with a deep meaning, dedicated to the memory of a respected teacher, excellent educator of the Kazakh SSR Tukubaev Berlibek Әbikeuly.

In the Olympiad, which has become a symbol of the continuity of generations took part 90 students from 30 schools of the district. All of them had the opportunity to test their strength and make themselves known.

The organizers of the event were the daughter of B. Tukubaev, Professor J.B. Rakhmetulina, head of postgraduate education department of S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University Abylaykhanova T.A., head of career center “Professional Upgrading” East Kazakhstan University Bolatova J.B., Bukhatova A.S. – teacher of East Kazakhstan University named after D. Serikbayev.

The winners were awarded diplomas on behalf of the Rector of Amanzholov University, as well as cash prizes provided by the family of Tukubaev B.A.

The event was accompanied by a gala concert, lighting of the Olympic flame and raising of the Olympic flag. With their speeches the Olympiad was supported by the head of the city education department, directors of schools and lyceums of Ayagoz city.

Representatives of Amanzholov University also conducted career guidance work, inspiring schoolchildren to build an academic future.

It is worth noting that the Olympiad will be held annually and will give children from the district an opportunity to prove themselves.
