WINNERS OF THE SCIENCE FESTIVAL WERE AWARDED
In Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University the closing ceremony of the Science Festival for schoolchildren was held. The event was attended by students, parents, project leaders and teachers of the university.
The purpose of the Festival of Science is to attract schoolchildren to research activities, develop their creative abilities and support the first steps of future young scientists.
– Nowadays science and education are the basis for the country’s development. In the conditions of modernization of universities, the role of science is especially important. The leading countries of the world are successful due to the priority given to science and education, as well as high human capital. Therefore, attracting young people to scientific research and discoveries is our common and important task,” said Rector of Amanzholov University Mukhtar Tolegen.
Recall that 105 scientific projects from different regions of the country were presented during the festival, 49 of which passed to the second round and were defended at the university. The subjects of the projects covered a wide range – from history and linguistics to natural and mathematical sciences.
At the end of the event the best participants were awarded in various nominations, the winners were given diplomas and money certificates.
In the direction “First Steps in Science”:
– I place: Rayana Bakytbek – 40 000 tenge
– II place: Adema Aitzhanova and Evangelina Solonets – 35 000 tenge each.
– III place: Masygutova Aisana and Nazar Shchetnikov – 30 000 tenge each.
In social-humanitarian direction:
– I place: Beksultan Sovetkhanov – 40,000 tenge
– II place: Nurali Sapuan – 35,000 tenge
– III place: Aizere Yerbolova – 30,000 tenge.
In natural-technical direction:
– I place: Azhar Sagaeva – “Best Project”
– II place: Akhmetkhan Kanatbek and Miras Zhomartov – 35 000 tenge each.
– III place: Alzhan Nurgaliyev and Rizabek Rasul – 30,000 tenge each.
In addition, Dauren Kadyruly and Erkezhan Abayeva, who presented projects related to the application of smart-technologies in agriculture and digital solutions in inclusive education, became the winners of educational grants from Amanzholov University.
