“CHILDREN’S PARALYMPIC GAMES 2025: WINNERS OF THE INCLUSIVE SPORTS FESTIVAL AWARDED

On the basis of the Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University an awarding ceremony of the winners of the inclusive sports festival “Children Paralympic Games – 2025” held within the framework of the social project “Salamatty Kazakhstan” took place.

– Within the framework of the project, inclusive and adaptive sports sections were created in 21 cities and towns of the country. This is not just sport, it is a movement towards equality, support and mutual respect. The purpose of such events is not only to identify the best athletes, but also to draw society’s attention to the issues of inclusion. Today’s participants are not just athletes, they are symbols of willpower, perseverance and inspiration, – said Irina Rovnyakova, Vice-Rector for Strategic Development and International Cooperation.

The participants showed excellent results in such sports as boccia and swimming, taking prizes. The winners were awarded diplomas, medals and cups.

The project provides young athletes with new opportunities. This initiative is aimed at developing the personal potential of each child, their adaptation in society and creating conditions for a full life. Events organized under the slogan “Sport without Borders” become a platform of equal opportunities for children with disabilities. This is a space of sport open to all.
