IV INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC AND PRACTICAL CONFERENCE DEDICATED TO LUCIA ILDAROVNA ABDULINA TOOK PLACE

The IV International Scientific and Practical Conference of researchers and teachers of philology and journalism “Actual Issues of Philology and Journalism” was held in Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University. The event was dedicated to the memory of Professor Lucia Ildarovna Abdullina – an outstanding scientist, teacher and mentor.

The conference was organized by the Department of Kazakh, Russian philology and journalism of East Kazakhstan University. Within the framework of the event the lecturers and students of the department presented their scientific reports, as well as invited participants: doctoral student of the Eurasian National University named after Lev Gumilev Daniyar A. A. and teacher of Russian language and literature of 29 Secondary School Zheludkova V.B.

Yulia Monshina, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Advertising and Public Communications of the Pushkin Leningrad State University (St. Petersburg, Russian Federation) addressed the participants of the plenary session with a welcoming speech. In her speech, she emphasized the significant contribution of Lucia Ildarovna Abdullina to the development of philological education, noting the importance of preserving scientific traditions and the continuity of generations.

Senior lecturer of the Department of Kazakh and Russian Philology and Journalism Natalia Budnikova also shared her memories of Lucia Ildarovna:

-For many of us, Lucia Ildarovna was not only a scientist with a capital letter, but also a person who inspired us with her attitude to work, to students, to life. This conference has become an integral part of the university tradition, and we are proud to continue the work she started,” she said.

The conference became an important scientific platform for discussion of topical issues of philology, journalism and humanitarian education, as well as strengthened scientific ties between universities of Kazakhstan and foreign partners.
