THE 10TH SEASON OF THE “SHABYT” THEATER WAS SOLEMNLY CLOSED

Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University solemnly ended the 10th season of the student theater “Shabyt”, created by the active youth of the university. The event also marked the 10th anniversary of the theater. Rector of the university Mukhtar Tolegen congratulated the creative youth and wished success in further creativity.

At the end of the season was presented staging “One day we will all be happy”, which touched on the touching theme of the bond between mother and child. The work of the Russian playwright was translated into Kazakh by third-year student Akbota Nurlankyzy.

This play was recognized as the “Best Production” at the IV Festival of Student Theatres “Ymit”, organized by the S. Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical Research University in Astana. Theaters from 8 universities of the country took part in the competition.

Also theater “Shabyt” took part in the national festival of student theaters “Adamdyk boryshyn” in Semey with the production “Ar” and won the prize of audience sympathy among 12 participating theaters.

Theater manager Ertai Kasenov noted that the experts highly appreciated not only the speech culture of student actors on stage, but also their ability to convey inner emotions and experiences.

At the end of the event, the participants of the theater received sweet gifts on behalf of the rector of the university.

Already this fall the theater will open its 11th season and will please the audience with new productions.
