THE REPUBLICAN EXPEDITION “NATIONAL VALUES. KAZAKH ETHNOGRAPHY. ZEYNOLLAH SANIK – 90”

In the Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University was organized a republican expedition “National Values. Kazakh ethnography. Zeinollah Sanyk – 90”, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the outstanding writer, ethnographer, historian and folklorist Zeinollah Mubarakuly Sanyk.

Professor of Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi, doctor of philological sciences Omirkhan Abdimanuly, professor, candidate of philological sciences Anarbai Buldybay, doctor of political sciences, academician of Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of RK Sharipbek Amirbekov, professor of Institute of Literature and Art named after M. Auezov, candidate of philological sciences Gulzhakhan Orda, famous journalist Kulbai Adirbek, as well as students took part in the large-scale event.

Serik Kaliyev, Executive Director of the Zeinollah Sanik Cultural Foundation, familiarized the participants with the goals and objectives of the Foundation and the expedition.

– The purpose of today’s event is to popularize the rich literary heritage of the writer and ethnographer, systematize national values, familiarize with the current state of historical and cultural sites, organize meetings with local genealogists and ethnographers. In addition, with the participation of students, we aim to promote the national heritage,” he said.

Professor of the M. Auezov Institute of Literature and Art, Doctor of Philological Sciences made a report on the theme of national idea in the prose of Zeinollah Sanyk, elaborating on the originality of the writer’s creativity and artistic reflection of the Kazakh worldview.

Within the framework of the event new scientific ideas were voiced and significant works that contributed to the spiritual heritage of the nation were analyzed. The expedition was highly appreciated as a meaningful initiative calling on young people to appreciate national values and respect historical memory.
