A STUDENT OF AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY BECAME ASIAN CHAMPION IN KETTLEBELL LIFTING

From May 14 to 19, 2025 in Bishkek (Kyrgyz Republic), the Asian Kettlebell Lifting Championship was held. The best athletes from eight countries took part in this prestigious competition.

Alisher Serikbek, a second-year student of the “Physical Culture and Initial Military Training” educational program of Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, became the winner of the championship, taking first place.

Alisher in the weight category up to 63 kg lifted a weight of 24 kg 187 times, leaving his rivals behind. This victory was the result of hard work and systematic training.

– I am immensely grateful to my coach, who made a huge contribution to my victory at the championship. I am also grateful to my friends who always believed in me,” said the champion.
