WINNER OF THE SPECIALITY “TOURISM” OLYMPIAD WON A FOUR-YEAR EDUCATIONAL GRANT

At the regional Olympiad in the direction of “Tourism”, organized by the Department of Economics, Management and Finance of the Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, Danelya Kamenova, a graduate of secondary school №20 of Semey city, won the Grand Prix and received a four-year educational grant on the educational program “Tourism”.

She successfully defended her project on “Tourism Development in Abay region”, analyzed the tourism potential of the region and presented her author’s tourist route.
– Thanks to this project, I became the owner of a four-year grant. I am glad that my ideas and aspirations were highly appreciated. In the future, I want to contribute to the development of our country’s tourism potential and inspire people to travel,” said Danelya.

In addition, Akzharkyn Maitpasova, a graduate of secondary school #35 of Ust-Kamenogorsk city, took the first place at the Olympiad. She successfully defended her project on “Ethnographic tourism in Kazakhstan: prospects and directions” and was highly appreciated by the jury.

– Tourism is not just traveling, it is a bridge between countries. Through it you can familiarize the world with the traditions and culture of our people, as well as contribute to the development of the economy of the country. That is why I want to connect my future with this sphere. And the first important step on this path for me is Amanzholov University,” Akzharkyn said.
