IV INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE OF THE KAZAKHSTAN PHYSICS SOCIETY STARTED AT AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY

Today, the IV Annual Conference of the Kazakhstan Physical Society (KPS) started at Sarsen Amanzholov University of East Kazakhstan.

Leading scientists from Great Britain, Russia, Turkey, Ireland, Malaysia, Poland and Kazakhstan have arrived at the important event for our region.

The conference will be held in English and provides a unique platform for international scientific dialog, exchange of best practices and coordination of research in physics and related disciplines.

The participation of world-renowned scientists emphasizes the high level of Kazakhstani science and scientific achievements in the field of fundamental and applied physics.

Ust-Kamenogorsk is a recognized industrial and scientific center located in the unique natural zone of East Kazakhstan. The region combines a rich natural heritage and a powerful industrial base represented by the Ulba Metallurgical Plant, Titanium-Magnesium Combine (UKTMC) and Kazzinc JSC. Scientists from foreign countries will visit museums of UMP and Kazzinc, get acquainted with the rich history and scientific projects of major enterprises of the region with universities.

The conference program includes plenary sessions and poster presentations, sectional speeches, poster sessions, presentations of scientific papers based on publications in journals indexed in Web of Science and Scopus.

Special attention is paid to the involvement of young scientists and students in the scientific community, which plays a key role in the formation of the country’s intellectual capital.
