EAST KAZAKHSTAN UNIVERSITY STUDENTS BECAME PRIZE-WINNERS IN THE XIII SUMMER UNIVERSIADE

Turkestan is hosting the 13th Summer Universiade among 4,000 students from 76 higher educational institutions of the country. Athletes compete in 17 disciplines, including badminton, track and field, judo, basketball, swimming, boxing, chess, karate-do, table tennis, futsal, togyzkumalak and qazaq kuresi.

In a large-scale sports event students of East Kazakhstan University Nurasyl Zhanibekov and Alinur Bekenov demonstrated excellent results in the discipline of “Freestyle Wrestling”. Young men became the owners of the honorable third place.

It should be noted that the athletes are students of Physical Education and Sports.
